Managing Dental Lab Invoices in Saudi Arabia

A reliable invoice process begins with accurate laboratory, customer and work-order data and a clear understanding of the software's ZATCA scope.

Prepare the laboratory tax profile

Maintain the laboratory legal names, VAT registration, commercial information and Saudi national address used on documents. Validate required data before issuing a tax invoice rather than correcting it after production.

Carry pricing from the case

Use a controlled catalog in SAR and document dentist-specific prices. Generate invoice lines from the accepted work where possible so the commercial record matches the delivered case. Keep drafts separate from issued invoices.

Understand Phase 1 QR boundaries

A basic TLV QR can encode seller name, VAT number, timestamp, total and VAT total. This does not by itself provide Phase 2 clearance, reporting, cryptographic signing or FATOORA integration. Confirm the exact capability and do not represent one as the other.

Close the account record

After issue, record payments and allocations against invoices and make account statements available for review. Preserve the issued invoice values and QR data as snapshots so later configuration changes do not rewrite historical documents.
